Religion And Marijuana
I wonder why people grimace and respond with disgust and disapproval at the very idea of using cannabis (Marijuana) as medicine or therapy for illnesses and sufferings.
The hypocrisy is too much for me to bear and be quiet about. What do they think that their artificially and chemically concocted pain killers like hydrocodone, percocet, morphine and hydromorphone and demerol are made of? Sugarcane and corn syrup? No! They are made of mind-altering, body damaging, addictive narcotics-opioids.
My LORD! If God made a natural plant that grows free or man's interference and can cure illnesses and is a natural remedy to sooth discomforts and relieve pain and has no lasting negative side effects on the body or the mind and isn't physically or chemically addictive, why not use it to better your health and improve your quality of life?
I am tired of allowing the hypocritical propaganda and policies of government, the judicial system and religion dictate what is healthy and not healthy for someone who is suffering and or dying. Folks should be allowed to pursue their health and seek a cure for their diseases in a safe, reasonable way without being harassed or stigmatized or threatened by Law Enforcement. Folks should be allowed to seek relief and a cure for their sickness, pain and diseases anyway possible and available to them as long as it doesn't injure anyone else or places anyone else in harms way.
Don't get it twisted! The negative attitudes about marijuana has nothing to do with holiness, righteousness or being saved. You just will not find any evidence in Holy Scripture of God or Christ damning someone for trying to treat their sufferings with a naturally growing plant or medicinal herbs or any other substance or plant.
The government and pharmaceutical companies hid the secrets of the medical benefits of cannabis for their own personal, medical, financial enrichment and private uses and application while brainwashing the public into accepting their labeling of Marijuana as an illicit drug and painting a negative image and perception of the plant through media and misinformation. Their clandestine propaganda doesn't make marijuana evil and the government holy. To the contrary. It makes them the perpetrators and the cause of much unnecessary suffering and pain. The government's propaganda campaign against marijuana doesn't make it evil and it doesn't make its user a bad person no more than taking percocet for severe back pain makes anyone an addict or a bad person.
The law can make anyone a criminal. We can see the results of the law being engineered and applied to certain segments of our society in order to criminalize and demonize them and ultimately incarcerate and dehumanize them and diminish their potential while handing out lesser penalties and sometimes turning a blind-eye to other groups of individuals who use artificially created, chemically enhanced and more damaging illicit drugs and prescription drugs.
I don't have the time or the energy to quote the facts to you about the number of Black Men who are incarcerated for marijuana sales and use while their white counterparts usually got probation, parole, rehabilitation and rich.
I would hope that in this age of information sharing that we would educate ourselves a little more about something that seems to be doing so much good for so many people despite the misinformation, fabricated arguments and lies that the government and religions have spread about it.

“Saved By The Blood and Not By Religion”
By Bishop O.W. Prince
Some folks put entirely too much trust in themselves and
their church.
Some folks’ hope of salvation is in their regular church
attendance. Some folks’ hope of
salvation rests upon their church membership. Some folks’ hope of eternal life
after death depends heavily upon their tithes and offering. Some folks’ hope of
salvation is in their being baptized by burial into water in the name of Christ
Jesus. Some folks’ hope for eternal life rests in their
speaking in tongues. Some folks believe that
strict observance of the Ten Commandments will guarantee their entrance into the
Kingdom of God. And albeit, these things
may have their proper place as responses to God’s Forgiving Love in Christ Jesus,
I trust only in the Blood of Christ and His saving work upon the cross.
THE BLOOD NEVER LOSES ITS POWER!
I am saved by the Blood of Christ through Faith (Trusting
Obedience) in God.
In whom or what do you trust?

NO RETREAT! NO SURRENDER!!!
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.” (Romans 1:26-27)
“Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.” (Ephesians 5:11-12)
God has never called His people to step back.
He has always called us to step up!
He has always called us to step up!
Don’t take a backseat to the legalized immoralities that are being systematically forced upon the Christian Conscious.
Reject the very idea and all legislation that promotes homosexuality, same-sex marriages and any policies that criminalizes and demonizes The Word of God and the Christian’s right to speak out against sin, whether national or individual.
Step up and speak out.
WE DON'T RETREAT AND WE NEVER SURRENDER TO THE FORCES OF EVIL.
God can’t use no coward soldier.
STEP UP!

Are You Like Christ?
It has been said that to be a Christian we must be Christ-like. And there are many people who consider themselves to be Christian. However, when we look at ourselves and our actions, do we resemble Christ?
Are You Like Christ?
Jesus was born for the purpose of obeying the Father even to the point of ridicule, torture and death.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus invested himself in others repeatedly without consideration for fame, fortune or celebrity.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus went out of his way to evangelize the undesirables and he risked the stigma of being a social misfit and a religious heretic in order to reach the oppressed, broken, discarded and downtrodden souls.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus demonstrated righteous indignation and holy boldness toward the corrupt and greedy money changers that operated in His Father’s House. He turned over their tables and expelled them from the temple.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus did not conform to the popular religious system but identified their leaders as a perverted, poisonous, hypocritical and deceitful brood of vipers.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus felt and demonstrated compassion on the poor, the sick, the widows and children.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus did not think himself too glorious to bend down and wash the feet of those whom he loved.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus did not hold a grudge against Peter for denying him but saw his contrition and restored him.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus never gathered wealth for himself nor taught his disciple how to gain worldly prosperity.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus never engaged in homosexuality, sexual perversions or lewd and vulgar language and behavior.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus did not practice overindulgence, intoxication or drunkenness.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus was not focused on carnal beauty, physical enhancements or outward adornments.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus obeyed The Father and kept all of His Commandments - not breaking one of them – not even the Seventh-Day Sabbath.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus never sought the glory, prestige, honor or position of ecclesiastical titles.
Are you like Christ?
Jesus was buried in a watery gave by baptism and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Are you like Christ?
The Father said that Jesus was His beloved Son in whom He was well pleased.
Are you like Christ?

Everything That Shines Ain't Gold
We have all heard it said
that “Everything that shines ain’t gold.” And in Isaiah the 14th
Chapter, Lucifer (The Devil) is described as the bright Morning Star – The most
beautiful of God’s creations.
Nevertheless, he was cast down out of heaven to the earth along with a third
of the stars (angels) of heaven) for prideful rebellion (Revelation 12:4).
There are a lot of good
looking, good sounding, excellent speaking, persuasive and motivating preachers
and Pastors who shine brightly in the earth.
But suffice it to say that
“Everything that shine ain’t Gold.”
The Bibles teaches us to “test the spirits to see whether they are
from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
And how do we test the Spirit to see if they are confessing or rather
teaching the Doctrine of Christ?
Apostles Paul answers that
question in Galatians 1:8 by saying: “if anyone or an
angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one preached to us by
the Apostles of Christ, let them be under God's curse!”
The standard for telling if a preacher is
preaching God’s Truth is to measure it against the commands of God and the
teachings and practices of the true apostles of Christ.
Christ and His Apostles have set the standard
for the Church of Jesus Christ. And any
other teaching, any other doctrines or any other practice is accursed.
Everything that shines
ain’t gold!

A Crumb From The Master's Table / O.W. Prince Ministries
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. -1John 1:9
Clear the air. Open Confession is Good for the Soul. If we confess first, then our enemies have nothing to hold over your heads.
Disarm the devil and come clean with God and He will wash you whiter than snow. (Psalms 51:6-8)

A CALL TO SEXUAL PURITY
1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
1 Corinthians 7:2
But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
For this is the will of God, your sanctification:[a] that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness. Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

"LIED TO DEATH"
Would you rather feel good or be well?
A lot of folks are made to
feel good while in actuality they are dying.
They are suffering from the horrors of the undiagnosed disease of sin. They are exemplifying all of the symptoms of sin
i.e. unforgiveness, malice, fornication, adultery, lying, stealing, disobedient
to God’s Eternal Commandments, idolatry, homosexuality, false doctrines,
witchcraft, licentiousness, lewdness, pornography, vulgar speech, vulgar
appearance, vulgar thinking, drunkenness, sexual perversions and uncleanness, BUT
NO ONE WANTS TO TELL THEM ABOUT THEIR DREADFUL DISEASE OF SIN.
Most folks are satisfied
with being made to feel good about themselves. (2 Timothy 4:3) They want to be encouraged in their sinful
state. They want to be excused from any genuine change and told that they can be
successful Christians through the process of self-improvement, learning to live
right and understanding God’s Word by continual studying and church
attendance. Some are convinced that they
can be saved simply by believing in the Lord whereas the demons also believe
and tremble. Are demons saved by faith also?
If the demons are not saved then neither are those who simply receive Christ with
a gesture of faith or some man-made sinner’s prayer.
I’d rather hear the truth
about my sinful condition that threatens my eternal soul rather than be
deceived into believing that I am alright then die and go to hell. I had rather
be thoroughly examined, properly diagnosed and prescribed God’s eternal
commandments for salvation (Repentance, Water Baptism in His Name and the Empowerment
of the Holy Spirit – John 3:3-7 and Acts 2:38) and take my medicine now than
walk around thinking I am saved only to hear the Lord tell me on that day “…I never knew you. Away from
me, you evildoers!” (Matthew 7:21-23)
As for the would be deceiver of my soul, there is a dreadful day
ahead for him. (Ezekiel 33:1-9)
I’D RATHER BE WELL THAN JUST MADE TO FEEL GOOD.
How about you?

“There Is Only One Way”– The Bible Is Right and Somebody Is Wrong
I cannot help but to be concerned about my fellow believers in Christ Jesus who are so argumentative and divisive about what genuine salvation is.
Some say that they are saved simply because they have believed the gospel. However, they don’t obey the gospel.
Some say that they are saved because they have verbally confessed the Lord Jesus Christ. However, they don’t keep His commands.
Some say that they are saved because they have received the Lord Jesus Christ. But what does that really mean?
Some say that they are saved because they have been baptized into water in the name of Jesus Christ or in the name of the Father and of the Son and of The Holy Ghost. But did they die to sin before the burial?
Some say that they are saved because they speak in tongue. But, the devil can imitate the tongue.
Some say that they are saved because they belong to a church or denomination. But is the Church in the Truth? Is The Pastor Born Again and Sent By God?
Some are convinced of their salvation because they have experienced a strong emotional demonstration or they have undergone a lifestyle change whereby they don’t have any social vices or bad habits. But is salvation based upon habits, feelings, loud shouting and dancing in the church?
Sadly, eternal salvation doesn’t exist in any one of these. And although it pains me to say it, there are some believers (Churchgoers) who are not going to be saved.
Many are carnal minded, rebellious, stubborn, deluded and confused and cannot come into a saving knowledge of the Truth. (Romans 8:7, 1 Corinthians 2:14, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11, 2 Timothy 3:6-9)
Many would-be Christians expend enormous amounts of energy through emotional displays, theatrics and public performances, attempting to convince themselves and others that they are saved when in actually they are unchanged. They have been deceived by Satan, blinded by their own lusts and confused by their desire to validate their own Faith.
Nevertheless, for whatever reason or cause, many believers believe different things about God’s One True Plan Of Salvation and I am concerned that in this confusion of religious diversities, many would-be saints are being lost.
And regardless of what anyone thinks or says, it is the living Word of God – Christ Jesus - who is the ultimate authority and final judge of what is required for salvation and who is saved and who is not. (Matthew 7:21-23, John 5:22, 27, Acts 17:31, Acts 10:42)
And behold there is only One Way to be Saved – Jesus Christ!

The Sign of Jesus' Return
In
Matthew 24:7-8, Jesus Christ foretold signs that would mark the time leading up
to His return: "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various
places …"
We
have certainly seen devastating earthquakes in recent years. The December 2004
earthquake off Indonesia was the most powerful in decades, unleashing a massive
tsunami that took some 300,000 lives. Less than a year later, an earthquake in
southern Asia killed another 30,000.
In
Matthew 24:7, the Greek word translated "earthquakes" is seismos,
from which we derive such English words as "seismology," referring to
the study of earthquakes. Strong's Lexicon defines it as "a commotion,
i.e. (of the air) a gale, (of the ground) an earthquake—earthquake,
tempest" (Strong's No. 4578).
So
seismos has a broader meaning than just the earth shaking. Matthew 8 records
how a violent storm overtook Jesus and His disciples on the Sea of Galilee,
threatening to capsize their boat and drown them—until Jesus miraculously
calmed the winds and waves.
The
word used in verse 24 for this powerful storm is seismos, here translated
"tempest." So we see that seismos can also refer to violent storms
and isn't limited strictly to earthquakes. When
Jesus foretold "famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various
places," His words encompass natural disasters that include earthquakes,
but can also apply to hurricanes, tornadoes and other such deadly storms.
As
we saw with Hurricane Katrina, these storms can be enormously destructive.
Katrina took more than 1,200 lives and caused an estimated $200 billion in
damage, not counting the economic hit from losses to shipping, oil and gas
production, fishing and agriculture. New Orleans, devastated by the storm, will
not fully recover for decades— if ever.
A
hurricane like Katrina, which reached category 5 strength before weakening, can
produce winds greater than 155 miles an hour and push ahead of it a wall of
water 18 feet or higher, doing major damage to virtually anything in its path.
Are
such natural disasters increasing as Jesus foretold? I would say “YES!”
Scientists
at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the National Center for Atmospheric
Research have concluded that there has been "a sharp increase during the
past 35 years in the number of category 4 and 5 tropical cyclones.” These are
the category of storms that cause most damage on landfall. Research shows that
those rated category 4 and 5 have increased by 80 percent from the 1970s to the
present decade.
Now
we are being threatened by hurricane Sandy. Forecasters warn that this
hurricane will likely collide with a cold front from the West – creating a
never before seen phenomenon called a hybrid "superstorm." This is
not a typical storm. It could very well be historic in nature and in scope and
in magnitude because of the widespread anticipated power outages, flooding and
potential major wind damage," It has the power and potential to reach up
to 800 miles inland and is expected to impact the east coast of the United
States as early as Monday, October 29, 2012.
This
should certainly make us sit up and take notice. Later in Jesus Christ's same
prophecy, as recorded in Luke 21:25-28, He says: "And there will be signs
in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of
nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing
them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the
earth …”
"Then
they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now
when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your
redemption draws near."
This
hopeful Word is directed at those of us who are truly saved and who have been
persecuted for the sake of Christ (Matthew
24:9).
The
sad truth is that many souls are blind as to what is directly in front of them.
They refuse to see the signs or accept God’s Word of warning regarding His
return.
Matthew
24:12 expressly tells us that “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love
of most will grow cold.” And 1 Timothy 4:1 confirms this prophecy for “The
Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow
deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”
There
are demonic forces in the earth leading men away from God’s truth and teaching
doctrines that are contrary God’s ordained plan of salvation through Christ
Jesus. And those who have been deceived have also been blinded to the truth
whereas they cannot see the need for repentance, water baptism in the Name of
Jesus Christ and being filled with the Holy Ghost. They are under a strong
delusion whereby they believe that they are saved without obeying God’s
instruction on how to be saved - they are following the doctrines of Demons.
I
implore you my brothers and Sisters, with all of my hearts, to “Repent and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of
your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Repent
before it is too late.
I
say again, REPENT!!!

“Do God’s Children Need A Revival?”
Religious revivals and the word “revival” descend from religious traditions absent of scriptural and apostolic authority and divine approval.
I realize that this is strong language and challenges most of our beliefs and religious practices. However, it is not my intention to be hurtful or confrontational but to edify the body of Christ as inspired and instructed by the Holy Spirit of God.
One may easily borrow from the earthly and scientific disciplines of etymology, philosophy, sociology and theology to explain the term “revival” and substantiate the practice of religious revival services. However, the fact would still remain that revivals, as we have come to know them, are not a part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For a Christian to accept the notion of or participate in the religious practice of “revival services” is for them to believe that a Christian can be dead spiritually and be brought back to life. This is contrary to everything that Jesus taught us about the ever-living Spirit of God and the born-again believer (John 11:26,John 6:47, Romans 8)
The word “revive” is made up of two parts: “re” meaning “again” and “vive” meaning to “live.” Thus, “revive” means “to live again, to be brought back to life, health or vitality.” Although this concept sounds good it lacks the authority of Holy Scripture and it contradicts the teaching of Christ and His apostles.
Neither Jesus nor his apostles ever advocated for revivals or accepted the notion that once you were born of the water and of the Spirit that the Spirit would die and need reviving. No! It is the Spirit of God that makes us alive (Romans 8:11). If indeed we have the Spirit of Christ, we are constantly revived (2 Cor. 4:16). Only those who are a part of the counterfeit church of Satan or those who have been deceived by religious traditions would dare think that God’s Holy Spirit needs reviving.
As members of the Body of Christ, we are instructed to build one another up and keep each other encouraged (Hebrews 3:13, 1 Thessalonians 5:11, 1 Corinthians 12:20-27). We were not instructed to do this through some religious service but on a daily basis. It is The Way of LIFE.
However, in our contemporary Christian churches, especially in the predominately black southern churches (where my experience mostly lies), the word “revival” has become synonymous with fund-raising services.
In the name of “revival services,” most churches are just raising money. They choose the revivalist that can draw the largest crowd in the hope of raising the most money. There is little or no concern for the truthfulness of the revivalist’s message or the integrity of his salvation. The main concern is raising money.
In the name of “revival services,” many churches have membership drives whereby their goal is to see how many souls that they can get to join their religious institution. They just want to increase the number of potential paying members in the hope of increasing revenues. It is a calculated business strategy and promotional venture.
In the name of “revival services,” some Pastors exchange pulpits with each other and in essence exchange monies with each other so as to increase their own exposure, popularity and wealth.
In the name of “revival services,” many churches put on a religious production with various performers including preachers, comedians, singers, choirs, musicians and other talents that may or may not be true agents of God. Their goal is to create a festive atmosphere of joy and vibrancy whereby one may feel saved without actually being transformed. And in exchange for this false sense of salvation, the collection plate becomes the collection basket and the Alter becomes the place where people toss their monies in response to the performance much like a minstrel show.
I have yet to go to a revival service where money was not a significant part of the service. And I have never seen anyone revived at a revival service. I have seen them deceived. I have seen them lied to. I have seen them motivated to an emotional frenzy. I have seen them robbed of their money but I have never seen a spiritually dead person brought back to live simply by attending a revival service. Some may have gone through the motions of reanimation but I assure you that they did not experience genuine salvation.
“You Cannot Revive That Which Was Never Alive.”
Not all so-called revivals have clandestine agendas. Some churches are sincerely trying to reach lost souls with the message of Jesus Christ. Some churches and some evangelist are adamant about teaching and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Some are devout followers of Christ and teach the importance of genuine repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. However, such churches should not call their services “revivals.” If they must have a distinction they should be but called “evangelical services.” They are evangelical at heart; attempting to fulfill the ministry of the kingdom of God and not their own surreptitious ambitions, denominational policies, theological beliefs or financial agendas (2 Timothy 4:1-5). They have given themselves fully to the ministry of eternal Life (John 14:6).
The Word of God says, “Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching… do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”
Obey The Word!

“Stop Tolerating the Clowns and Seek for the Crown”
Something is disturbing me.
I’ve discerned that a significant number of pastors are plagiarizing other pastor’s materials. They don’t have an original revelation or thought from the Lord so they borrow and steal the revelations of others without giving credit to the original prophet. Some have used their seminary professor’s opinions, Bible annotations and Bible footnotes exclusively to form their sermons. Instead of these things being tools for information, they’ve become resources for revelation. This is not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself. But it can become a bad thing. If that is all a pastor is depending upon, he then is only regurgitating the predigested rhetoric of another without any real personal substance, insights or revelation of his own. He does not hear from God. He is always borrowing from other men more gifted than himself; reciting old news, rearranging old thoughts and offering leftovers platitudes and Sound Bits to his congregation.
This is what a lot of folks are stuck with for a pastor—a motivational speaker posing as a preacher, pretending to have heard from the Lord when in actuality all they’ve heard is another man’s sermon.
They are fakers and imitators; gifted entertainer and impersonators. They wouldn’t know what an original thought or divine revelation looked like. They are “wannabes.” They want to be more than they are and something that they are not. Pastoring is an occupation to them and not a divine calling. Their faith is in the gifts of others or in their own education and not in God’s divine revelation. They are cowards also. Unless somebody else has said it first and unless their congregation approves of it, they will never preach a condemning message or a message that challenges long-held, yet incorrect beliefs. They are clowns on a stage–performing the scripted play.
Stop putting up with these pulpit playwrights and plagiarists. Seek for a real man of God who genuinely is saved according God’s Divine Plan of Salvation and who genuinely hears from God and deliver God’s Word as the Lord directs. Seek for a man who speaks with the voice of God (Ezekiel 33:7-9).
Stop tolerating the clowns and seek for the Crown.

The Bishop's Corner (Unchained)
I mostly end up writing articles that are published as posts and shared on my FaceBook wall and other blog sites. But today, I want to muse just a little about the potential for a massive salvation experience.
I realize that what I am about to say is almost unimaginable to the average believer but I must believe that it is possible because God has revealed it to me.
If we can just get those surreptitious pastors and preachers who are currently heading churches and ministries to confess and admit that they have the education but not divine revelation; they have intellectual knowledge but not divine wisdom; they know how to preach about God but they don’t really know God; if we can just get those pastors to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and indwelt with the Holy Spirit of God, then they could actually help lead thousands and possibly millions to genuine salvation.
It can be done. However, they would have to practice the humility that they preach about so vehemently. They would have to become submissive and obedient to God’s commandments in the same manner that they teach others to be toward them. They will have to renounce their denominational loyalties and profess unwavering loyalty to Christ and the Kingdom of God. They may have to sell their riches and give it to the poor in order to have riches in heaven. They may even have to live in relative poverty for the sake of the Kingdom of God. But I wonder how many, if any, would actually do what is commanded by God to do in order to save themselves and others?
God so loved the sinner that He gave all that He had to bring the sinner out of darkness into His marvelous light.
The question that God is asking us today is “Can you love like God? Do you have the love of God dwelling within you? What will you give up for the sake of the salvation of others? If you are already struggling with these questions, you may need to revisit how you were saved and just spirit is directing your life.
God has said through His actions that nothing is too much of a sacrifice for the saving of lost souls. Jesus said,“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” (John 10:11)
And finally, the Word of God admonishes us by saying:
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 2:5)

This offer is limited to the supplies of CDs that we have on hand. You must have this CD if you are truly interested in genuine, authentic, biblical salvation.
It will…
- Help you identify false preachers and teachers.
- Equip you with the Bible knowledge necessary to make an intelligent decision about who you should listen to regarding the saving of your soul
- It will provide you questions to ask any church that you are considering joining.
- It will reveal the original plan of salvation of Christ and His Apostles purely from the Holy Scriptures and not from intellectual theology or denominational religion.
- It is an awesome, Power Packed, 21 minute, evangelical tool to help you witness to others.
The Bible says:
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children. (Hosea 4:6)
God acknowledges that His people will be destroyed due to the lack of His Truth. The Word of God also indicates that the cause of this lack of knowledge is not just rebellious people but pastors who have forgotten God’s Eternal Moral Law – not teaching God’s Truth but the gospels of men. They have been rejected by God.
You should want to know how to identify those who have been rejected by God so as not to be ensnared by their smooth hypnotic rhetoric and inherit the wages of their sins.

Today’s Sabbath Message For April 28, 2012 / TESTS OF A TRUE PROPHET – “Prophets” Part 2
“Prophets” Part 2
TESTS OF A TRUE PROPHET
1) A true prophet does not lie. His predictions will be fulfilled. (Jer. 28:9) “But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the LORD only if his prediction comes true.”
2) A true prophet prophesies in the name of the Lord, not in his own name or according to his own will. (2 Pet. 1:21) “For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
3) A true prophet does not give his own private interpretation of prophecy. (2 Pet. 1:20) “Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation.”
4) A true prophet points out the sins and transgressions of the people against God. (Isa. 58:1) “Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion and to the house of Jacob their sins.”
5) A true prophet is to warn the people of God’s coming judgment. Here are some examples of judgment such as portrayed in Isa. 24:20, “The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls — never to rise again.” and Rev. 14:6, 7, “Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth — to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.’”
6) A true prophet edifies the church – counsels and advises it in spiritual ad doctrinal matters. (1 Cor. 14:3, 4 ) “But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.”
7) A true prophet’s words will be in absolute harmony with the words of the prophets that have preceded him. (Isa. 8:20) “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.”
8) A true prophet recognizes the incarnation of Jesus Christ. (1 John 4:1-3) “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”
9) A true prophet can be recognized by the results of his work. (Matt. 7:16-20) “By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”
10) A true prophet speaks and acts in accordance with the Word, will and approval of God. (Deut. 18:19) “If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.”

“The Truth About Revivals”
This leads me to the question, “What is a “Revival?” Why do churches have “Revivals?” What does a church revival accomplish? What is its main objective or purpose? These are questions that you should want to know the answers to.
According to one source, a “Revival” is a series of Christian religious services held in order to inspire active members of a church body, to raise funds and to gain new members to its congregation.
C.H. Spurgeon wrote that a revival may best be interpreted thus: “To live again, to receive again a life which has almost expired; to rekindle into a flame the vital spark which was nearly extinguished.” (From the December 1866 Sword and Trowel)
Regardless of which definition you choose, it appears that revivals assume that those sponsoring them are saved and need encouraging. Revivals assume that the sponsoring religious body has obeyed God’s ordained plan of salvation (repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name and the reception of the Holy Ghost as evidenced by the speaking in tongue). Without any biblical or spiritual proof that they are saved, many alleged Christian churches are having revivals without any biblical precedent, God given authority or power other than that of their own imaginations, traditions and man-made declarations of faith.
I do not personally support the notion of revivals. They seem to be more about the raising of money and the praising of the personality preaching than about the Kingdom of God and His ordained plan of salvation. Revivalist these days seem to be more interested in entertaining and drawing a large following than about exposing sin, uncovering wickedness and calling sinners to repentance. A great number of contemporary revivalists have adopted the quick and easy ineffectual and demonically contrived notion of salvation whereby one may be saved simply by “receiving Christ” or “reciting a sinner’s prayer” or ”believing in their hearts” or some other made-up foolishness of their imagination. The questions we should ask is: “How do I receive Christ without repentance and obedience?” How can the man-made sinners’ prayer save me when man didn’t die for me?” “How can believing save me when demons also believe and tremble?” “If these methods worked so good, why didn’t Christ or his apostles us them?” “Why didn’t the apostles of Christ have revivals?” How can the unsaved, disobedient, rebellious and prideful church or revivalist lead anyone to salvation?
The answer is: “They cannot!”
Their formulas or methods of salvation are based upon human understanding, academic justification, denominational validation and emotional ratification. It just sounds good, looks good and feels good but its ways lead to death.
I am reminded of the lesson of Matthew 23:15 where Christ calls the religious leaders hypocrites and points out that they expend a lot of effort to win new member and when they have converted him to their religion, they make him twice as much a child of hell as they are. And again in Matthew 15:9-14 I am reminded that Christ plainly stated that they worship him in vain teaching only the rules (theology) of men. He calls them blind guides who lead others to the pit (Hell). Jesus plainly warns us to leave them.
I repeat what my Lord has already said. Leave them! They are only after your money and your membership in their religious organization. Leave them! They are only practicing a tradition of sedition whereby pastors take turns preaching in each others pulpit for money. Leave them! They are blind guides who cannot see that they need salvation. Leave them! They are hypocrites who are not saved themselves and cannot lead anyone else to salvation. Leave them! How can they revive that which has never been alive –born again? And why would a born-again child of the living God who is filled with God eternal Holy Spirit need reviving from a dead church?
Our revival, our restoration, our renewal come from God.
Leave them!
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord.
Repent!
