IS GOD SUPERNATURAL? WHY? WHY NOT?
If you are speaking in the Tongue of the Divine to someone who only understands the language of the supernatural, there cannot be any successful communication for “What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer (an Obedient Saint) have in common with an unbeliever (rebellious and unbaptized disobedient sinner)?” One speaks out of hopeful and blind TRUST and divine revelation and submission to God and CHRIST and the other only understand what their human imagination, feelings and intellect can grasp hold of and agree with. One operates in the POWER of The Holy Spirit and the other in the strength of their humanity.
Don’t Get It Twisted! The Supernatural and the DIVINE are NOT the same and never have been. Not once in the Holy Scripture's Account of Christ and His Apostles was God or His Messiah ever referenced as being or operating in the "supernatural." They are Holy, Divine, Almighty, SPIRIT AND TRUTH, LOVE AND FORGIVENESS, MERCY AND GRACE, but never "supernatural."
Ignorance Kills. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

MONEY BEFORE RELATIONSHIP OR RELATIONSHIP BEFORE MONEY?
In the history of my folks, it has
always been relationship before money.
The man and woman had to have a
relationship with God. They had to have
a relationship with their community and fellow worshipers of God and then they
had to develop a relationship with each other’s families before marriage. Money was a necessary part of the equation
but it was not the deciding factor or a deal breaker as no one had much money. Blacks were habitually paid far less than
whites for the same job for far more work at longer hours and under harsh
working conditions.
The black men and women – mothers and fathers - in our households understood the daily risks and dangers that each other faced in the work force and they genuinely appreciated the effort that each other made to just put food on the table and keep warm in the winter months. Almost everyone worked for slave wages and what they didn’t raise in a garden or keep in a chicken coop or hog pen; they had to credit at unfair prices.
The black woman in particular knew the frustrations of her black man trying to be a man to his family and meet his own high expectations of manhood in a world that called him a boy and paid him less that a man’s wages. She knew that her encouraging voice, homemaking skills and entrepreneurship was the reason that he could take the abuses and the shame thrust upon him daily by those who hated his skin. She verbally and visibly encouraged him – often calling him Mister. And she respected him and required her children to respect him regardless of how little they had or how well they were getting along. And when he was spoken down to and put down by white men and women, it was the Black woman who would often lift his spirits with a clean and well kept home, creative meals and passionate affection.

And when he was spoken down to and put down by white men and women, it was the Black woman who would often lift his spirits with a clean and well kept home, creative meals and passionate affection.
The relationship was a coalition of a
man and woman – a mother and a father – whose aim and goal it was to survive
this world’s hatred of them, teach godly character and principles to their
children and to raise a generation that might be more successful than they
were.
They had no idea of raising a generation that would imitate the perversions and superficial materialistic values of their oppressors.
They had no idea of raising a generation that would imitate the perversions and superficial materialistic values of their oppressors.
This generation of black men and women today
have it all wrong and have insulted the sacrifices made by our foreparents for
our survival.
They have become the enemies of their
own people and the destroyer of their own children. Thus, they are the murderers of themselves.
Because they have abandoned their heritage
and turned their backs on the character and moral strength of their ancestor,
they are now under the rule of capitalism and materialism – glamour, glitter
and gold; sex, pleasure and position are now the measuring stick by which they
judge themselves and measure each other.
There aren’t any real love connections
anymore that are based upon a real relationship. As in prostitution, it is commonly said and
repeated that it is all about the money.
No money. No honey. Marriage today for many is a self-deceptive clandestine
business of finance, sexual gratification, personal preferences, future
security and manipulation of wills and morals.
Two people choose to be partners in life as long as their physical and
sexual needs and expectations are met and satisfied. After that, it is divorce. There doesn’t
appear to be any consideration for each others spiritual and psychological needs
or the need to really matter to the object of your LOVE.
It is money before relationship in this
generation.
We are doomed if we don’t repent and
return to the morals and character values of our ancestors that enabled them to survive the most wicked of treatments and the most vile of abuses.
I call for a return to Black family
values and moral.
I call for a cessation of prideful
single parenting.
I call for a cessation of prideful
fornication and homosexuality in our homes and communities.
I call for a cessation of gang violence
and murder.
I call for a cessation of being
disrespectful of our elders and of our females and of each other.
I call for a cessation of sagging pants
and clothes that exemplify harlotry, whoredom and disrespect toward God and
man.
I call for a cessation of willful
ignorance, blind distastefulness and moral disregard.
If we don’t Repent, we would have
surrendered to the will and plan of our oppressors and succumb to the brainwashing
of our enemies and the backstabbing rhetoric of the Judas’s in our midst.
If we don’t Repent, We will never reclaim
our rightful heritage as KINGS and Queens.
We will only be tokens and remnants and continue the bow to the false gods
of our oppressors – money, prestige, glamour, glitter, gold and position.
Again I say, REPENT!!!

IS CHURCH "SEXY?"
There are some folks who go to “church” for the wrong reasons and with the wrong attitude.
Some go to worship services lusting after someone and looking for someone to hit on and/or hookup with (Have sex with).
Some “churches” serve only as a hunting ground for the depraved mind, lustful spirit and sexually immoral.
I wouldn't play with God like that but some people just don’t care.
Why Do You Go To “Church?”
“Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” ~ 1 John 2:15-17
“No one Can Serve The Lusts of The Flesh and The Spirit of Holiness. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” (Bishop O.W. Prince)

NO RETREAT! NO SURRENDER!!!
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.” (Romans 1:26-27)
“Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret.” (Ephesians 5:11-12)
God has never called His people to step back.
He has always called us to step up!
He has always called us to step up!
Don’t take a backseat to the legalized immoralities that are being systematically forced upon the Christian Conscious.
Reject the very idea and all legislation that promotes homosexuality, same-sex marriages and any policies that criminalizes and demonizes The Word of God and the Christian’s right to speak out against sin, whether national or individual.
Step up and speak out.
WE DON'T RETREAT AND WE NEVER SURRENDER TO THE FORCES OF EVIL.
God can’t use no coward soldier.
STEP UP!
(Bishop O.W. Prince)

Why Are We Still Saying “One Nation Under God?”
I was watching “We The People with Gloria
Allred” about a case between two co-workers.
During the deliberations, the plaintiff was shown to be an obnoxious bully who incessantly harassed the defendant about her weight and eating habits.
The plaintiff made some remark that she believed the defendant to be pregnant and that the defendant may have been ashamed of being pregnant because she was unmarried.
Judge Allred questioned the plaintiff about what she meant by implying that the defendant may have been ashamed or embarrassed about being pregnant and single. She wanted to know if the plaintiff thought that the defendant should be ashamed of being single and pregnant. The plaintiff, in effect, back peddled and said “of course not” and that she was a good person – implying that good people do not think that being single and pregnant is nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about.

However, this same “good person” was not admonished
or questioned about bullying someone about their weight or eating habits.
It is obvious to me that the demonically clandestine and subliminal message in all of this is that it is alright to harass someone about their weight and how they look but it is unacceptable to suggest that someone should be ashamed of being a fornicator and becoming pregnant outside of the bonds of holy matrimony.
“We don’t even have the common decency to be ashamed of our own sinful behaviors anymore. We have become brazen in our filthiness and disgusting in our whoredom.” (O.W. Prince)
Why are we still saying “One Nation Under God” when our courts and laws openly contradict the moral principles of God?

THE WORD OF GOD SAYS...
"They are darkened in their
understanding and separated from the life of God because of the
ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves
over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and
they are full of greed. That, however, is not the way of
life you learned." - Ephesians 4:18-20 (NIV)

A CALL TO SEXUAL PURITY
1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.
1 Corinthians 7:2
But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
For this is the will of God, your sanctification:[a] that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness. Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

"LIED TO DEATH"
Would you rather feel good or be well?
A lot of folks are made to
feel good while in actuality they are dying.
They are suffering from the horrors of the undiagnosed disease of sin. They are exemplifying all of the symptoms of sin
i.e. unforgiveness, malice, fornication, adultery, lying, stealing, disobedient
to God’s Eternal Commandments, idolatry, homosexuality, false doctrines,
witchcraft, licentiousness, lewdness, pornography, vulgar speech, vulgar
appearance, vulgar thinking, drunkenness, sexual perversions and uncleanness, BUT
NO ONE WANTS TO TELL THEM ABOUT THEIR DREADFUL DISEASE OF SIN.
Most folks are satisfied
with being made to feel good about themselves. (2 Timothy 4:3) They want to be encouraged in their sinful
state. They want to be excused from any genuine change and told that they can be
successful Christians through the process of self-improvement, learning to live
right and understanding God’s Word by continual studying and church
attendance. Some are convinced that they
can be saved simply by believing in the Lord whereas the demons also believe
and tremble. Are demons saved by faith also?
If the demons are not saved then neither are those who simply receive Christ with
a gesture of faith or some man-made sinner’s prayer.
I’d rather hear the truth
about my sinful condition that threatens my eternal soul rather than be
deceived into believing that I am alright then die and go to hell. I had rather
be thoroughly examined, properly diagnosed and prescribed God’s eternal
commandments for salvation (Repentance, Water Baptism in His Name and the Empowerment
of the Holy Spirit – John 3:3-7 and Acts 2:38) and take my medicine now than
walk around thinking I am saved only to hear the Lord tell me on that day “…I never knew you. Away from
me, you evildoers!” (Matthew 7:21-23)
As for the would be deceiver of my soul, there is a dreadful day
ahead for him. (Ezekiel 33:1-9)
I’D RATHER BE WELL THAN JUST MADE TO FEEL GOOD.
How about you?

What does the Bible say about men with long hair? / Does God have a standard for His men?
1 Corinthians
11:14-15
14 Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory?
14 Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory?
In
this passage of scripture, Paul does not mean “nature” in the sense of “the
natural world” or “Mother Nature.”
Obviously, Paul cannot mean that since in the world of animals all males
do not have short hair and all females do not have long hair. All we need to do is to look at the male lion,
a common biblical animal, with a bushy mane and female lion with no mane at all.
Moreover, there is evidence that for
first-century men to have long hair was considered a sign of effeminacy [characteristics
of being a woman]
and perhaps even homosexuality—something that Paul in Romans 1 considers
contrary to nature. When Paul says by
“nature” he means how naturally it was for folks of his culture to associate
long hair with femininity and short hair with masculinity. Cross-gender behavior was not uncommon in the
first century.
Paul
claims that the long hair of a woman “is her glory.” The way Paul is using the word “glory” in this
text refers to the beauty of women’s long hair.
Paul understood, as most of us do, that Long hair can make a woman look
attractive and beautiful and is identified as one of her important feminine
qualities. This fact is even true
today. All we need do is look at the
attention and the money that women invest in their hair.
However,
men who want to take on the feminine qualities of a woman, whether by wearing
long hair, long braids or ornamented hair decorations are to be naturally
considered effeminate, thus discredited as a man [shameful].
When
it is so important for a male to have long dreadlocks or stylishly long hair
hanging on his shoulder or down his back as if he where a female, he is taking
on the characteristic of a female and thus has dishonored himself as a male.
Regardless
of the cultural, social or personal reasons for a man wearing long hair, it is
not a trait that the apostles approve of for born-again men.
As
for whether this practice will condemn you to hell, I cannot say. But is it that important to you that you
would risk your eternal soul on a hair style?
The
question that we should all ask ourselves is, “Do I want to meet the standards
of God’s holiness or the stylish trends of the world?”
Do
you have a heart for God or a heart for the things of the World?
REPENT!

THERE IS ONLY...
(Edited from Al Shannon’s Post in “Biblical
Proof”)
Christians
only have ONE authority, and that is Jesus Christ. He has the right to order
and command. He said: All authority was given to him both in heaven and in
earth. (Matt. 28:18).
God has
the right to tell us what to do by virtue of the fact that he created us and
not we ourselves. (Ps 100:3) When man tries to become his own authority, then
he is acting according to the same evil desires with which Satan tempted Eve.
Eve rejected God’s authority when she entertained a second opinion. When we
seek ways to circumvent God’s laws we are committing the same sin Eve
committed.
Authority Needed In Life
Authority
is necessary in all aspects of life. Without it, there can only be anarchy and
chaos. Without authority in the home, children will never learn the discipline
needed to function in civilized society. Without authority in school, no one
will receive a proper education. Businesses can’t exist without someone in
charge because eventually no one will be productive. Without moral authority in
governments, people will turn to wickedness like abortion, homosexuality, and
adultery. Authority is needed everywhere. This is something that most people
freely recognize. Someone has to be able to call the shots, and say the buck
stops here.
Authority Needed in Religion
The need
for authority is especially seen in the religious world. The existence of
hundreds of denominations reveal this. The many divisions that exist, even
among God’s people, testify of the need for authority. Divisions and
denominations exist because people, at sometime, did not listen, and submit to
the authority of God. Instead, they became their own authority, and acted in
lawlessness.
“In those days there was no king in
Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” Judges 21:25
The
nature of man requires authority. Man can’t even direct his own steps. (Jer.
10:23). Some deny that we need authority for all that we say, and do. When
people act or teach something without God’s authority, then they must look to
one of two things: (1) Themselves or (2) Others. Yet, the Bible condemns
looking to men as the source of authority (Jer. 10:23; Col. 2:20-22; Matt.
15:7-9; Rom. 12:3; 1 Cor. 4:6). Without God’s authority, we only have man’s
worthless opinion, which changes like the wind, shifting to and fro.
“That we should no longer be children,
tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the
trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ — from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Eph 4:14-16
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ — from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Eph 4:14-16
Humanism
teaches us that we do not need God to tell us what to do. However, if one
person can appeal to himself or another man for authority, then why can’t
another person do the same? Who is to say who is right or wrong? When men
contradict each other, how will the issues and questions be settled? Where else
can we appeal? Without God, confusion and every evil thing will exist in
society. Only division and evil will result. There is no way for us to be
united based on the authority of man. Only God’s Word can unite us, and keep us
united with the same mind and judgment. 1 Cor 1:10
Sadly, some are insisting that the pleas
for authority are legalistic, and
unnecessary. “The church must change with the times,” they say. Actually, all
who believe and espouse such nonsense are not rejecting us, but rejecting
Christ’s authority, and His Word. (Matt. 28:18; Jn. 12:48).
“And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken
unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not
rejected thee, but they have rejected
me, that I should not reign over them.” 1 Sam 8:7
A
standard of right and wrong is essential to mankind. Our Standard must be the
inspired Word of God (2
Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 10:14-16). Without the inspired Word of God, we
can’t know God’s will. This is why it is vital for us to seek for a genuine
Holy Spirit filled, God sent man-of-God who is appointed by God to teach and
preach out of the revelation of Holy Spirit and not out of religion’s
pre-translated text. “If anyone speaks,
let him speak as the oracles of God” (1 Pet. 4:11).
Mock it if you want, reject it if you
will, but only God’s Word comes with the Spirit and power of God.
“And my speech and my preaching were not
with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and
of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power
of God.” (1 Cor 2:4-5)
Nadab and Abihu Rejected God’s Authority
Many
examples given to us in the Old Testament testify to the need for acting with
authority (Rom. 15:4). Nadab and Abihu were condemned to death because they
acted in the silence of God. (Lev.
10:1-3). They used a strange fire which the Lord “had not commanded them”.
Perhaps they thought that they did not need authority. Many strange fires burn
on the Alter of Christianity today that God did not authorize. Unless they
repent, they too shall perish.
Jesus’ Authority
The
Pharisees questioned Jesus authority, and asked Jesus about his teaching and
works: “By what authority are you doing these things? And who gave you this
authority?” Jesus didn’t say, “I don’t need any authority. You’re just being a
legalistic!” Jesus ultimately refused to answer them because they refused to
admit that John the Baptist preached with God’s Authority. This also reveals
that authority only has two sources: God or man. (Matt. 21:23-27)
Jesus
came with the power to heal the sick, raise the dead, and forgive sins. Even
they knew that no one could do such without God’s authority and power to do so.
Yet, they said, this man has a devil which gives him such authority. (Mt
12:23-28)
Jesus
eventually told them that he received his authority, and power from His
heavenly Father. But rejected this and crucified our Lord between two thieves.
When we reject God’s Word and it’s authority, we are rejecting Christ. (Jn
12:48)
Apostles Authority
All
Christians are to follow the Apostles’ doctrine which is One with the doctrine
of Christ. (Acts
2:42; 1 Cor 11:1) The apostles likewise taught the need for acting with
authority from God. We are to the endeavor for unity (Eph. 4:16; 1 Cor. 1:10).
The only way for unity to be maintained is through respect for God’s authority.
We must all follow the same standard and abide by it (Phil. 3:16). True
disciples of Jesus Christ abide in his word (Jn. 8:31,32). We must remain
within the confines of the revealed Word of God (1 Cor. 4:6). To go beyond the teachings
of Christ and His Apostles is a total disrespect for The Lord and will bring
destruction on whomever seeks to change God’s law. (2
John 9, Rev. 22:18-19).
Conclusion: The
Church is to be subject to Christ who is the head in everything (Eph.5:23,24).
Without question, the Scriptures teach us the need for acting with authority in
all that we do and teach. Let us never complain at God’s commands. Let us not
mock God’s preached and revealed Word. Instead, let us bring honor, and glory
to God by our full submission to his will. Let us remember we are the created
and not the creator. (Ps 100:3) Let us always remember: Christ is the “author
and finisher of our Faith and the author of eternal salvation to all who obey
him” (Heb. 5:9; Heb 12:2). Let us never forget, God always has the Last
Word. His Word is everlasting and
waiting to Judge us all. (John
12:48)
“4 There is one body and
one Spirit. In the same way you were called to share one hope. 5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 one God and Father of all, who is over
everything, through everything, and in everything.” (Ephesians
4:4-6)

“What’s In You Will Come Out Of You.”
A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. ~ Luke 6:45 (NIV)
________________________________________________________________
What is really inside of us will come spilling out of us when life puts the squeeze
on us. Crisis will usually reveal what is really in our hearts. It is
easy to do and say the right things when life is calm and everything is
going right, but what we say and do when chaos hits and the pressure is
on tends to paint a more accurate picture of who we really are. It is
kind of like a sponge. Suppose you have five sponges lying on your kitchen counter. Each member of your family has been cleaning different areas of your home, but the sponges all look the same. You are curious about what was cleaned but you can’t tell just by looking at the sponges since they all look the same. So what do you do?
You squeeze each sponge to see what happens. As you squeeze the first sponge, brown cola comes pouring out. Someone must have cleaned the kitchen with that sponge. Upon squeezing the second sponge, you see blue tub and tile cleaner oozing out of the sponge which leads you to believe someone used that particular sponge to clean the bathroom. In the third sponge, you find cooking oil and conclude that someone spilled some oil and cleaned it with the sponge. The fourth sponge produces a puff of baby powder when it is squeezed. The baby’s nursery was obviously cleaned with that sponge. Finally, the last sponge is dripping with floor wax which tells you someone used that particular sponge to clean the floor. As you lay the last sponge down, you look again at their similarity. They all look the same — until they are squeezed.
We are a lot like sponges when it comes to our Faith in God. We look and act as if God is Lord of our lives. We say all the right things to all the right people and do right things in order to prove we are right. But what is really inside? What do our hearts really look like?
When a crisis comes and the pressures of life squeeze us mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, what comes out? Do we respond to that difficult person in anger or with patience and love? Does revenge spill out in ugly words to that person who has hurt us more times than we can count or do we take a breath and remember that God loves them and that hurt people tend to hurt other people? Does the pain of unresolved sin flood our hearts and minds as guilt spills out of our heart with a vengeance?
Just like the sponge, we can only squeeze out what is put in. Fill your heart with the things of God. Stay in the Word each day. Spend time with faith builders who will encourage you in your faith. Seek God and His plan for your life. Pray about everything so that when life puts the squeeze on you the very nature of God will come pouring out.
Today’s Prayer
Father, I pray to You today in the name of—*YeHoWsHua HaMashiach – Jesus the Christ. Father, I want my faith to be more than just talk. I want my religion to be more than just window-dressing. I want to be real and authentic. I want to be a genuine, baptized in Jesus’ name, Holy Spirit filled, tongue talking, obedient child of God. Please forgive me when I played religious games and pretended to be someone I was not. I confess that I am a sinner. I want to be saved. I repent of my old sinful nature and take hold of Your grace in Christ Jesus through baptism in His name. Anoint me O Lord. Empower me to walk in Your grace so that when hard times press heavy upon me only Your Word will come pouring out of me. This is my prayer today in the name of the LORD YeHoWsHua* (Jesus) the Christ, Amen.

Footnote: The Hebrew spelling of the name of Christ is used in this prayer for educational purposes. Yehowshua is often shorten to Yeshua but out of respect for my Lord I chose to use the spelling of His proper name to demonstrate that His name s above every name and that even the spelling of His name is relative to the spelling of The Father’s name – remembering that there were not any vowels in the Hebrew alphabets. Thus, YHWH (Yahweh) and YeHoWsHua (Yahweh is salvation) are grammatically and uniquely related.

Today's Word & Prayer for Today's Christian
“Consider
this: The Father has given us his love. He loves us so much that we are
actually called God’s dear children. And that’s what we are.” ~ 1 John
3:1 (GW)

Have
you ever noticed that you are never a grown-up to the ones who birthed
you? They completely disregard the gray hairs, crowfeet, and bulging
waistlines of your adult life. No matter how many children call you
“Dad” or “Mom,” to your parents you are still just a child yourself.
They seem to think you have slipped into the closet to put on grown-up clothes and are really just playing a game. They must believe that somewhere beneath the receding hairline there is still a child, hiding in the shadows of adulthood. The worst part about it is (keep this quiet) I think they are right!
And like our parents, the Lord looks beyond our façade and sees the trembling places in our lives. He knows our innermost needs. No matter how spiritually mature we try to appear, He is still aware that lurking in the shadows is an insecure little girls who needs her Father to tell her that he loves her and he is going to make everything alright. He is aware that beneath the façade of brawny masculinity is a little boy who needs his Father to reassure him of his manhood and tell him that he is the image and glory of his daddy. God is aware of the hidden issues of His “all grown-up” little children.
The
Father understands the hidden fears, insecurities, anxieties, hurts,
anger and feeling of revenge that lurks in each of us from time to time.
He is aware of the worst in us, yet still thinks the best of us.
He understands the child in us, and He speaks to our blanket-clutching, thumb-sucking, infantile needs. In spite of our maturity, income, education, or notoriety, He still speaks to the childhood issues of our aging hearts.
The Father’s Love Never Fails.
Today’s Prayer
Father, I pray to You today in the name of—*YeHoWsHua HaMashiach – Jesus the Christ. I thank you for adopting me into Your family and for calling me Your child. I am grateful for the privilege to be called a child of God. And like a child I am still growing and learning. I need Your guidance and instruction to help me navigate this tedious life. I am unsure of my myself and I need Your reassurance. I have strayed from the path You’ve chosen for me and I need You to lead me back to the path of righteousness. I have even been rebellious at times and now I repent and I need You to forgive me O God. Have mercy on me. No one knows me like You do. Speak to the issues of my heart and heal all of my hurts and pains. Daddy, I need You and I need You now! Help me to become more and more like You—to look and sound like You and to walk in the knowledge and power of my birthright. This is my prayer today in the name of the LORD YeHoWsHua* (Jesus) the Christ, Amen.

The Uzzah Syndrome
In the Book of 2nd Samuel there is
a story of a man named Uzzah who was in the employment of David. He and his brother were entrusted with the
task of guiding an ox drawn cart upon which the ark of the LORD had been laid. However, there was a divine order in which
the ark of God was to be transported and handled. (Exodus 25:10-22, Numbers 4:1-20,
1 Chronicles 15:13-15) This divine order
was not observed by David or Uzzah. They
ignored God’s instructions and prerequisites regarding the handling of the ark,
for only Levites were suppose to transport the ark of God in a divinely
prescribed manner. And when the oxen
stumbled, Uzzah reached out His hands to steady the ark of God so that it would
not fall and God struck him dead.
A life was lost because a pair of human hands
was laid upon the ark of God in irreverence (disrespect) to God’s divine
orders. Uzzah placed his hands upon the
ark with the best of intentions, to steady it and keep it from falling, but
they touched God's work presumptuously, and he fell dead.
In today’s contemporary Christian churches,
there are many systems of religions that espouse various forms of gospels that
offer various means of salvation. They have
presumed to change God’s divine order of things and do it their way. They have, in a real sense, shown irreverence
to God’s divine will and instructions.
And regardless of their motives or of their good intentions, they are
inviting the wrath of God and the destruction of themselves.
God is a just God. All of His actions are right and fair. He does not show partiality for He is no
respecter of men. Deuteronomy 32:4 says,
“He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A
faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.”
If God killed Uzzah for touching the ark and
disregarding His divine order, what will happen to those who mishandle His Holy
Word-Jesus the Christ- disregarding His divine order and establishing their own
way?
Disobedience to God equals disrespect for God
and this will always end in death.
Our challenge today is simply to Trust and
Obey.
Today’s Word
6 When they came to the threshing floor of Nakon, Uzzah reached out and
took hold of the ark of God, because the oxen stumbled. 7 The LORD’s
anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck
him down, and he died there beside the ark of God. ~ 2 Samuel 6:6-7
Today’s Prayer
Father, it is in the name of the LORD YeHoWsHua* (Jesus) the Christ that I pray to You today. I confess that I have sinned against You. I have shown irreverence and disrespect for
Your way and Your will. I have not
followed Your instructions or kept Your Holy Commandments as I should. I realize that I am in danger of eternal
damnation. Please forgive me O God. I am sorely sorry for my sins. I
REPENT! I realize that Your way is
always right and just. I desire to obey
Your Word, for in Your Word is life—life everlasting. Please forgive me O God. Help me to never disregard Your living Word
or disrespect Your divine order. Your
divine instructions are a delight and a joy to obey. Empower me to keep all of Your
commandments. Help me to obey Your
divine instructions regarding repentance, water baptism in Your name and the
indwelling of Your Holy Spirit. Protect
me from false religions and counterfeit faith.
Please keep me away from perverse doctrines of demons and religions of
men. I want to be found in Your perfect
will. I want to be saved according to
Your divine way. This is my prayer in
the name of the LORD YeHoWsHua* (Jesus)
the Christ, Amen.
