TURN IT AROUND

What if Trayvon Martin had a gun and shot Zimmerman to death in self-defense?  Would the “Stand Your Ground” rule be interpreted in his favor as it was in Zimmerman’s?  How wound the trial have turned out?

American history has already answered these questions for us.

CAN SOMEONE SAY DOUBLE STANDARDS?

WARNING!!!

Don’t fall for the old switcheroo that the government sanctioned media is trying to feed to the public.

The recent media blitz about child abuse and domestic violence involving celebrities isn’t anything new in our society.  And I find it ominously strange that these old topics, although important, are suddenly made to be front & center against Mr. Michael Brown’s murder and the growing international awareness of America’s unjust and murderous treatment of its African American population- particularly its black males.

Why is it so important to make us aware of “domestic violence” and “child abuse issues” when we are still reeling from the numerous shooting deaths of young male African American teenagers by white Law Enforcement officers?

I would venture to guess it is to further dismiss the value of a black male’s life and cover-up the shame, wickedness and hypocrisy of a government that preaches human rights to other nations while permitting inhuman and egregious racist actions within its own borders.

WHAT'S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER

Only a wicked person would seek to demonize the victim - an unarmed teenager - just to justify an unjust and wrongful shooting by a law enforcement officer.

If demonizing an African American male is accepted as justification for the unjust shooting and killing of that male, then so must the argument be made that a raped woman must have deserved her rape because of her behavior and/or social habits, minor offenses and taste in clothes.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

“Saved By The Blood and Not By Religion”

By Bishop O.W. Prince

Some folks put entirely too much trust in themselves and their church.

Some folks’ hope of salvation is in their regular church attendance.  Some folks’ hope of salvation rests upon their church membership. Some folks’ hope of eternal life after death depends heavily upon their tithes and offering. Some folks’ hope of salvation is in their being baptized by burial into water in the name of Christ Jesus.   Some folks’ hope for eternal life rests in their speaking in tongues.  Some folks believe that strict observance of the Ten Commandments will guarantee their entrance into the Kingdom of God.  And albeit, these things may have their proper place as responses to God’s Forgiving Love in Christ Jesus, I trust only in the Blood of Christ and His saving work upon the cross.

THE BLOOD NEVER LOSES ITS POWER!

I am saved by the Blood of Christ through Faith (Trusting Obedience) in God.

In whom or what do you trust?

IS CHURCH "SEXY?"

There are some folks who go to “church” for the wrong reasons and with the wrong attitude.

Some go to worship services lusting after someone and looking for someone to hit on and/or hookup with (Have sex with).

Some “churches” serve only as a hunting ground for the depraved mind, lustful spirit and sexually immoral.

I wouldn't play with God like that but some people just don’t care.

Why Do You Go To “Church?”

“Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.  The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.”  ~ 1 John 2:15-17

“No one Can Serve The Lusts of The Flesh and The Spirit of Holiness.  Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” (Bishop O.W. Prince)
