Gratitude

We take entirely too much for granted.

We take for granted that the air we breathe will always be there for us but the asthmatic and C.O.P.D. sufferers do not.

We take for granted that we have a home or an apartment to go to but the homeless do not.

We take for granted that we can use a bathroom privately as we need to but our incarcerated brothers and sisters do not.

We take for granted that we have something to eat and drink but the poor do not.

We take for granted that we will always have someone around for company and companionship but the lonely do not.

We take for granted that we have another day to do what we should have done today but the dead do not.

Learn To be Grateful!

(O.W. Prince)
