"You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak
what is good?” (Matthew 12:34)
“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law
and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven
in people’s faces. You won’t go in yourselves, and you don’t let others enter
either. What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees.
Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn
that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are!”
(Matthew 23:13-15)
Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and
selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the
benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said
to them, “‘My house will be called a house
of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers.’” (Matthew 21:12-13)
Jesus did not act afraid when faced with opposition and wickedness. But he openly exposed them for who they were
and rebuked them with power and might.
Jesus was not politically
correct nor was he concerned with kissing anyone’s behind just to be accepted
by them.
Jesus is just the Truth!
Amen!
